Off to The Greenbrier with the fam for the 4th. Should be a Wasp-tastic vacation. Skeet shooting in the morning, golf and white water rafting in the afternoon, then various black tie events every evening. You know, “fun” stuff. Personally I prefer being shirtless and drunk on a lake over the 4th, but wearing a tux in a stuffy ballroom is good too…

It will be a good time though. I have been there before and enjoyed myself. Plus I haven’t been to an IADC meeting in a couple of years so it will be good to see all those people. Grandma will be there, as well as my niece, and we are set to rule the pool every day and celebrate her turning the big 2.

My lord Ana Ivanovic is sexy. She puts Maria Sharapova to shame. Granted I am biased since I have a major weakness for brunettes, but I don’t think many will disagree that she is gorgeous. Not only that, but she is ranked No. 1 in the world and won her Wimbledon match today in straight sets. Not too shabby. That is all I know about Wimbledon for now. Ana is the only thing keeping me interested in early round play.

Spain took the game in penalties. So intense. This Euro cup has been huge.

I honestly believe that there is no question that Germany and Spain will meet for the final match.

I certainly hope so. Germany has the easier path. Turkey has lost far too much quality to injuries for me to consider them a threat. As for Russia, I don’t know how well they will fare against the skill of the Spanish. What I am trying to get at is Spain vs. Germany is the best possible match up. They were the two strongest teams in my mind coming into the tournament, and are certainly the two I want to see battle it out for the title.

And lets be honest. Which match up sounds like a Euro final, and which sounds like a consolation match? Spain vs Germany - Turkey vs. Russia
