Reason number 5,026 why I don’t “get” art. This Lucian Freud masterpiece just sold for $33.6 million dollars. I personally think it looks like a giant version of the fat girl pictures me and my friends used to send each other labeled as “hot porn” in junior high - and then later in life, what some guys I know loved to change the wallpaper on others computer too… And by looks like, I of course mean its so identical that it’s the entire reason I watched the video to begin with. I personally would rather buy a $36M penthouse in NYC or Chi-town and have my art be my ceiling to floor windows. That’s just me though.
